Taylor Swift Art Project: The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived

I can't even write this post without stomping around the house and singing the bridge to this song with the utmost intention. The best part is that the girls also know all the words and join in the theatrical fun :)

This art piece is currently sitting on a shelf in our family room. Right beside our Travis and Taylor peg dolls, to be exact ;) Although we considered gluing pins to the back of these shrinky dinks and pinning them all over a sweatshirt, the gold frame idea won the vote.

You can (and should!) make one too!

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Shrinky Dink plastic (you can find shrink sheets at Michaels or sometimes Dollarama!)

  • Sharpies or permanent markers

  • scissors

  • oven

  • frame

  • glue

  • letter stamps and ink pad

HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Blast some Taylor Swift music. It's mandatory.

  2. Draw as many men as you decide on shrink sheets.

  3. Cut them out individually.

  4. Shrink them according to package instructions.

  5. Glue them (we used glue dots!) onto a sheet of cardstock - one that is sized for the frame you selected.

  6. Use letter stamps (or just your own steady hand!) to include some lyrics from the song :)

  7. Display your fancy new art and stomp around your house belting the bridge....at least one time :)

Here's a creation video, for dramatic emphasis....

Happy creating, my fellow Swifties!

Love,

Lindsay XOXO
