PLAYDOH SUNS

HAPPY SUMMER, SWEET FRIENDS!!!!!

We celebrated the summer solstice with these darling Playdoh creations, but I’m giving you full permission to do these absolutely ANY DAY OF THE YEAR!

Aren’t they darling?!

WHAT YOU NEED:

• yellow and/or orange Playdoh

• googly eyes

• yellow and red pipecleaners

• yellow popsicle sticks

• beads and gems (we used clear, orange, yellow, and red ones!)

HOW TO MAKE:

1. Form a ball of Playdoh in your hands and then gently flatten it.

2. Add pipecleaners or popsicle sticks to the edge of your sun to form rays of sunshine.

3. Add googly eyes and a red pipecleaner smile.

4. Embellish as desired!

ACTIVITY EXTENSION:

• Create a Playdoh moon to accompany your Playdoh sun!

• How can the sun hurt people?
