Peg Doll Mummies

Have you ever encountered ribbon that frays like crazy and drives you nuts and you want nothing more to do with it? Then this art project is for you! ;)

WHAT YOU NEED:

• The irritating, fraying ribbon I was just talking about. And if you're lucky enough to have a ribbon collection that doesn't induce stress, yay! Choose whatever ribbon you like!

• peg dolls

• googly eyes

• hot glue and glut gun

HOW TO MAKE:

1. Attach one end of your ribbon to your peg doll using a dot of hot glue.

2. Invite your artist(s) to cover their peg doll with ribbon by wrapping it around and around.

3. Secure the very end of the ribbon with another dot of hot glue, and feel free to secure other loose areas with a dot too! Some artists wrap a little more loosely than others, and that is A-okay! :)

4. Glue on googly eyes with white glue or hot glue :)

5. Time to extend the play! Can you make a haunted house for your mummy?!

   
   

Art projects like this can be tucked away and then savoured year after year. I always love pulling these out of our Halloween bin <3
