If you're a new reader, you might not know that my family lived in the Middle East for over a decade. And so, after missing out on fall all that time, we get extra excited for the leaves to change colour in Canada! The fall has us outside, exlporing and collecting and oohing and aahing and......making lots of art! ;)
This leaf painting activity is so simple and so stunning every time! It's taking the prettiest thing about the fall (the colourful leaves!) and making them even prettier (ah-hem, more colourful!)
WHAT YOU NEED:
paint pens (or paintbrushes and paint!)
fallen leaves
HOW TO MAKE:
Many of our favourite art projects begin with a nature walk. This one is no exception! Get outside and explore all the different types of fall leaves in your area.
Use paint to decorate the leaves in whatever way brings you joy. Lines, stripes, polka dots, hearts, patterns, words......whatever you feel in the moment! We find that the more we create, the more we......create! ;)
We hope you enjoy this activity as much as we do. It's one of those easy, peasy, sit around and chat sorta crafts.
