You know, I didn't always love Halloween the way I do now and I can't believe that fact is true! I wasn't even upset when I saw Halloween make it's July appearance at Michaels this summer ;) That is HUGE for me, haha.
This Halloween art project is one of my very favourites! It's easy to prep and fun to execute! I think I will give it a try with the kinders at school this year :)
WHAT YOU NEED:
cardboard
popsicle sticks
hot glue gun and glue sticks
paint
embellishing items (paper, googly eyes, Halloween crafting supplies from the dollar store!)
white glue
scissors
HOW TO MAKE:
Start by cutting out various "popsicle" shapes from cardboard.
Use hot glue to adhere a popsicle stick to the back side each of your cardboard cut-outs. I prepped this ahead of time for the girls.
Paint the cardboard cut-outs using your desired colours. Allow to dry.
Embellish your art piece to turn it into a "scream-sicle" :) Let your imagination go wild! We think our next batch needs a witch ;)
Your screamsicles can be used for creative play too! I'm picturing a spooky treat stand......
Be sure to send us your creations! We love to see what you make together <3
Love,
Linds XOXO
