Glittery Fall Leaves

I know that fall leaves are stunning as is, but there's no denying the amplifying effects of some trusty glitter ;) Plus, kids are collectors by nature and you can pair this one with a nature walk for a morning or afternoon of quality time <3

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • leaves

  • washi tape

  • white glue

  • glitter

  • paint brush

HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Use washi tape to cover the parts of your leaves that you don't want to be glittered. You can create stripes, block off certain areas (e.g. half of the leaf, bottom of the leaf), or go totally freestyle. There are no rules ;)

  2. "Paint" with white glue on the spots that remained uncovered.

  3. Sprinkle glitter on the gluey parts. Shake off excess.

  4. Allow glue to dry and then gently peel off the washi tape!

  5. Display leaves in a sunny spot for maximum impact. The front porch, on a window sill, the kitchen island, anywhere the sun will touch!

Aren't they magical?! I love them so much!

Wishing you a sparkly Saturday, sweet friends!

<3 Linds

XOXO
