Bunny Cameras (a recycled Easter art project!)

theartstadium

You're definitely going to have better luck spotting the Easter bunny with an actual bunny cam ;) Trust us!!!

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • cardboard

  • lids (we used Playdoh and kitchen jar lids from our recycling bin stash!)

  • string or ribbon

  • hot glue gun & glue sticks

  • paint or paint markers (we love our Posca pens!)

  • craft foam or felt

  • embellishing items (e.g. gems, pom poms)

HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Use cardboard to create the camera structure. We created 3 equal-sized rectangles of cardboard and hot glued them together.

  2. Use a lid to create the camera lens. Secure it onto the cardboard with hot glue too!

  3. Add bunny ears to the lens using foam or felt.

  4. Add a "flash" with a gem or another embellishment you've gathered!

  5. Hot glue a ribbon or string to the back side, ensuring it is long enough to serve as a camera strap that can go over the photographer (or bunny seeker's!) head.

  6. Decorate your camera as you like! Add colour! Add glam! Add all the things that make your bunny camera your very own :)

My girls insisted on creating a true photographer experience, having all sorts of buttons and screens to engage with on their bunny hunt.

Wishing you all of the bunny-spotting luck as you embark on your very own bunny hunt! Make sure you share your cameras with us for future inspiration!!!

Happy creating,

Love Linds XOXO
