Air Dry Clay Candle Holders

Whether it's Christmas or Valentine's Day or Mother's Day or Father's Day or any other gifting occasion, this air dry clay candle holder is a beautiful, homemade present. Tailor the beads to the colours of the occasion or the favourite colours of the recipient, and BAM! Nailed it <3

WHAT YOU NEED:

• air dry clay

• beads

• tea light candle (ours is battery operated!)

HOW TO MAKE:

1. Roll the air dry clay into a ball.

2. Smoosh (technical term) the ball to flatten it slightly.

3. Press the tea light into the top of the clay, where you'd like it to sit. We did ours in the middle, but you can be extra artsy and put it to one side! Anything goes!

4. Press beads firmly into the clay until your heart is content.

5. Allow to dry. Depending on the thickness of your clay, it could take more than 24 hours :)

I made these with kids at a holiday event one year and so we gave each artist a tinfoil-wrapped piece of cardboard to carry their candleholder home on :)

I think they are such an easy and pretty gift for a person you love!
